Naranj keeps being the best place in Damascus for authentic Syrian cuisine. Professionalism of staff and the specialities they offer make this place unique. Despite the crisis, they maintained high level of hospitality with affordable prices. I recommend the Mawzat with Frikeh and sejaat dishes :)

Naranj is among the best restaurants in Damscus for traditional Syrian food, in addition to particular location in the heart of of old city, with splendid view to the Orthodox Patriarcha of Antioch and the Mashreq.Staff is welcoming and very professional.Food is excellent.Try Borgol and Hommos and select Cherry Kabab at the end, you will never regret.

The place to be in if you are looking in the quest of authentic damascene cuisine.The cherry on top was the syrian sweets that were on the house.I would recommend without hesitation.
